The County Commissioners met in Regular Session at 10:00 a.m. in the County Commissioners office.  Those present were:  Chairman, Cary Carrell; Vice-Chairman, Anthony Fixico; Member Dale Dunn; County Assessor, Gerald Sherrill; Court Clerk, Rhonda Stepanovich; County Clerk, Christi Hair

 

AGENDA:

Item No. 1:   CALL MEETING TO ORDER.  The meeting was called to order by Chairman Cary Carrell.

Item No. 2:   APPROVE MINUTES OF LAST MEETING(s).  A motion was made by Dunn and seconded by Fixico to approve the minutes of the last meeting, a Regular meeting held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2009.

Item No. 3:   APPROVE REPORTS.  The following reports were signed and approved for the month of January.

Item No. 4:   APPROVE BLANKET PURCHASE ORDERS.  A motion was made by Dunn and seconded by Fixico to approve the issuance of fourteen (14) Blanket Purchase Orders for the Sheriff’s  Department as follows:

·         Clinic Pharmacy- Prescriptions for inmates- SCP-2                                                             $  2,000.00

·         Farm Plan (Atwoods)- Merch. & supplies for Sheriff Dept.- B-2                                   $     500.00

·         Fox Building Supply- Merch. & supplies for Sheriff Dept.- B -2                                     $     500.00

·         Fuelman of Southern OK.- Fuel for Sheriff Dept. Vehicles – SSFCF-2                         $  6,000.00

 Item No. 5:   CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON DESIGNATION OF RECEIVING OFFICERS AND REQUISITIONING OFFICERS FOR THE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE. The County Clerk presented a Designation Form assigning Helen Holcombe and Gail Allen as receiving officers for the County Clerk’s office.

Item No. 6:   CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2009.  The County Clerk presented Appropriations to the Board of County Commissioners.  They were not presented as Supplemental Appropriations.  A  motion was made by Dunn and seconded by Fixico to approve the following appropriations for the month of January:

Item No. 10:   VENDOR PARTICIPATION. There was no vendor participation.

Item No. 12:   ADJOURNMENT.  A motion was made by Dunn and seconded by Fixico to adjourn.  The next meeting is set for Monday, February 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s office. Notice of the meeting was given by posting the required notices on the Information Center of the County Courthouse on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 9:23 a.m.
