The County Commissioners met in Regular Session at 10:00 a.m. in the County Commissioners office. Those present were: Chairman, Cary Carrell; Vice Chairman, Marty Clinton; County Sheriff, Roger LeVick; County Clerk, Christi Hair; Paula Peterson.

ABSENT: Member, Anthony Fixico

AGENDA:

Item No. 1: Call Meeting to Order. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Carrell.

Item No. 2: APPROVE MINUTES OF LAST MEETING. A motion was made by Clinton and seconded by Carrell to approve the minutes of the last meeting; a regular meeting held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Office of the Jackson County Courthouse.

Item No. 3: Approve Reports. Reports for the month of April, 2011 were presented as follows:

· Jackson County Assessor $ 94.00

· Alcoholic Beverage Tax $ 8342.54

Item No. 4: Officers Reports. Chairman Carrell informed the Board of Commissioners that he is expecting to have cost estimates from Architect, Phil Burk, on the completion of the Courthouse repairs by Monday, May 2, 2011.

County Sheriff, Roger Levick, informed the Board of Commissioners of recent thefts of big equipment in the county. He requested the Highway Department be on watch for anything that appears suspicious.

Item No. 5: Approve Blanket Purchase Orders. A motion was made by Clinton and seconded by Carrell to approve the issuance of fifteen (15) blanket purchase orders for the Sheriff’s Department and one (1) blanket purchase order for the District Attorney’s Office as follows:

A motion was made by Clinton and seconded by Carrell to approve the monthly Appropriations for April, 2011 as presented.
