The County Commissioners met in Regular Meeting at 10:00 a.m. in the County Commissioners office.  Those present were: Chairman, Cary Carrell; Vice Chairman, Marty Clinton; Member, Anthony Fixico; County Sheriff, Roger LeVick; County Assessor, Gerald Sherrill; Court Clerk, Rhonda Stepanovich; County Treasurer, Renee Howard;  County Clerk, Christi Hair.

AGENDA:

Item No. 1:   Call Meeting to Order. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Carrell. 

Item No. 2:   Approve Minutes of Last Meeting(s). A motion was made by Clinton and seconded by Fixico to approve the minutes of the last meeting; a regular meeting held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Office of the Jackson County Courthouse.

Item No. 3:  Approve Reports.  There were no reports presented at this time.

Item No. 4:  Officers Reports. County Assessor, Gerald Sherrill, announced the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011.  He stated that after receiving verification from the Forestry Division granting permission to use an outdoor smoker for such an event, Jerry Brooks agreed to cook the meat for the luncheon.

Item No. 5:   Approve Blanket Purchase Orders.  A motion was made by Fixico and seconded by Clinton to approve the issuance of one blanket purchase order for the Assessor’s Office as follows:

Item No. 6:  Consideration and possible action on Transfer of Appropriations from Sheriff’s Contract Prisoner Maintenance & Operations Fund (SCP-2) to Sheriff’s Contract Prisoner Payroll Account (SCP-1A).  A motion was made by Clinton and seconded by Fixico to approve the request to transfer $70000.00 from the Sheriff’s Contract Prisoner M&O (SCP-2)into Sheriff’s Contract Prisoner Personal Services (SCP-1A) to meet necessary payroll needs.

Item No. 7:   New Business.  There was nothing discussed at this time.
