2010 Yearly Report

 

For the year ending December 31, 2010

 

Jackson County Sheriff Office, Roger LeVick, reports that Jackson County Deputies responded to a total of 6,011 calls for service in the year 2010.

 

1,406 warrants were issued by the Jackson County Court Clerk’s Office.  484 of those issued were recalled, and 841 served.

 

Deputies served a total of 628 Civil Papers.

 

50 Sheriff Sales were conducted.

 

Deputies took a total of 247 written reports.  Of the 247 reports, 177 were investigated as crime related, 106 were cleared or closed by the arrest of the offender or offenders, 34 were cleared or closed by the referral to another Agency or were discovered to be unfounded after follow up investigation, and 37 remain open and are still under investigation.

 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office updated 15 Sex Offender Registrations’.

 

Deputies drove a total of 35,724 miles outside of Jackson County to bring fugitives to Justice that were arrested by other Agencies, transporting of Juveniles, and transporting persons with mental health issues.

 

The Sheriff’s Office as a whole drove 267,115 miles in the performance of their duties.

 

There were 1,795 inmates booked into the Jackson County Jail while 1,800 were released either by bonding out, time served, or court ordered release.  Jackson County Deputies transported a total of 39 inmates to Lexington Oklahoma to begin serving their sentences with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
