JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MONTHLY REPORT
For the month ending June 30th, 2010
Jackson County Sheriff, Roger Levick reports that
the Jackson County Deputies responded to a total of 569 calls for the
month. The following is a summary of the
calls that were responded to: 23 Business and Residential Alarms, 35 Stranded
or Abandoned Vehicles, 4 911 Calls, 12 911 Hang-ups, 3 Animal Abuse / Neglect, 2
Animal Bite, 46 Animals Out, 20 Agency/Officer Assists, 1 ATV, 4 Breaking & Entering, 6 Burglary, 1 Civil
Disturbance, 8 Debris in Roadway, 6 Disturbance Calls, 7 Domestics, 7 EMS/Fire Assists,
9 Emergency Calls, 1 Fight, 27 Fires, 79 Inmate Transports either to or from
the Courthouse or from another Law Enforcement Agency, 2 Juvenile Transports, 2
Juvenile Disciplinary Problems, 1 Larceny, 9 Reckless Drivers, 3 Recovery of
Stolen Property, 2 Shots Fired, 6 Standby, 1 Stolen Property, 2 Stolen Vehicle/Equipment,
28 Suspicious Persons/Vehicles, 2 Traffic Control, 133 Traffic Stops, 1 Trash
Dumping, 2 Trespassing, 5 Vandalism, 3 Walk
Thrus, 23 Welfare Checks, and answered 43 other Miscellaneous
Calls (Calls for Service, Civilian Transports, Open/Door Windows, Jail Assist,
etc.).
Deputies served 62 Warrants, performed 5 Sheriff Sales,
and served 48 Civil Papers.
Deputies worked a total of 28 new cases for the
month of June. The following is a
breakdown of these written reports: 1
Animal Bite, 1 Assault, 6 Burglary II, 2 Damage to Property, 2 Domestics, 1
Driving Under Influence, 1 Driving Under Suspension, 1 False Declaration on
Pawn Ticket, 3 Larceny, 1 Obstruction,1 Possession of CDS in Jail, 1 Possession
of Marijuana, 1 Possession of Stolen Property, 1 Recovery of Stolen Property, 1
Stolen Vehicle, 1 Theft of Utilities, 2 Unattended Deaths, and 1 Vandalism.
Total population of the Jackson County Jail on June
30th was 117 inmates. 156 inmates were
booked in and 162 inmates were released either by bonding out, time served, or
court ordered release. 11 Inmates were transported to Lexington, Oklahoma to
begin serving time with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
The Department, as a whole, drove a total of 25,055
miles for the month in performance of their duties.
