JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MONTHLY REPORT
For the month ending November 30, 2010
Jackson County Sheriff, Roger Levick reports that
the Jackson County Deputies responded to a total of 418 calls for the
month. The following is a summary of the
calls that were responded to: 7 Business and residential Alarms, 19 Stranded or
Abandoned Vehicles, 4 911 Calls, 3 911 Hang-ups, 4 Animal Abuse / Neglect, 1 Animal Bite, 33 Animals Out, 13 Agency/Officer
Assists, 2 Breaking & Entering, 1 Burglary, 1 Child Abuse, 1 Civil
Disturbances, 1 Contraband in Jail, 1 Damage to Property, 6 Debris in Roadway, 9
Disturbance Calls, 5 Domestics, 9 EMS/Fire Assists, 12 Emergency Calls, 7
Escorts, 11 Fires, 80 Inmate Transports either to or from the Courthouse or
from another Law Enforcement Agency, 2 Juvenile Transports, 8 Juvenile
Disciplinary Problems, 1 Minor in Possession, 1 Person with a Gun, 1 Rape, 9 Reckless
Drivers, 1 Recovery of Stolen Property, 2 Shots Fired, 4 Stand By, 3 Stolen
Property, 10 Suspicious Persons/Vehicles, 1 Traffic Control, 85 Traffic Stops, 2
Trespassing, 2 Vandalism, 1 Verbal Domestic, 6 Walk Thrus, 7 Welfare Checks,
and answered 42 other Miscellaneous Calls (Calls for Service, Civilian
Transports, Open/Door Windows, Jail Assist, etc.).
Deputies served 54 Warrants, performed 4 Sheriff
Sales, and served 58 Civil Papers.
Deputies worked a total of 16 new cases for the
month of November. The following is a
breakdown of these written reports: 1
Assault with Deadly Weapon, 1 Dog Bite, 2 Domestic, 1 Driving Under Suspension,
1 No Driver’s License, 1 Fraud, 1 Fugitive from Justice, 1 Information, 4
Larceny, 2 Theft, and 1 Vandalism.
Total population of the Jackson County Jail on September
was 126 inmates. 125 inmates were booked
in and 143 inmates were released either by bonding out, time served, or court
ordered release. 5 Inmates were transported to Lexington, Oklahoma to begin
serving time with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
The Department, as a whole, drove a total of 21,379
miles for the month in performance of their duties.
